A celebration of the glorious tradition of Pet Pujo – or eating to one’s heart’s content – that governs all celebrations and festivities in Bengal, SPECIALLY the much awaited Durga Pujo, with glimpses of some of the traditional dishes prepared, eaten and looked forward to by everyone celebrating Durga Pujo – from Aloo Posto, Beguni, Phulko Luchi and Aloor Dom to Kosha Mangsho, Pabda Macher Jhal, Ilish Begun, the Khichudi, Labda and Chutney served during all Pujo Bhogs, popular snacks served at Pujo stalls, such as Kobiraji Cutlets and Radhaballavi, and all the traditional sweets prepared in Bengali homes, like Nadu, Patishapta, Malpoa, Shondesh…..the preparation and partaking of which is looked forward to with much anticipation and gusto throughout the year by all Bengalis.
