MOONLIGHT SONATA – Beethoven – Includes Sheet Music/Tab – Classical Guitar

This comes from is the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. “Moonlight Sonata” refers to Sonata No. 14. The original key is c-sharp minor but for this arrangement, I transposed it to the key of A minor. .

One of my favorite movies is Immortal Beloved, a movie about the life/love life of Beethoven. Probably my favorite scene from the movie is when he lays his head on the piano and plays this movement. You can see a clip of it here:
