NEEMZ – I CHOOSE MYSELF (Official Music Video)

“I Choose Myself” is confirming that as I go through life experiences, I realize everyone has their own timing, identity, DNA and challenges. Choosing yourself means acceptance of everything, the unknown and known, the ups and downs, the hate and love. It’s a moment of peace and release, an affirmation stance to believing that life gets better with time, and the people we meet along the way, help us experience the world in a different light. Everything happens for a reason, so standing up for yourself and your truth is a base for everything that comes after!

I was deeply inspired by my Palestinian roots for the production of this record and Dabke music that I wanted to incorporate parts of my identity and culture into the production using Arabic drumming alongside melodies carrying this uplifting bold dance energy that brings this story to life.

It’s the “I Choose Myself” era I hope you choose you!
