It’s crazy how life can surprise you. I wrote Sourire in a little town called Bagnoles de l’Orne in France (known for its natural healing hot springs). It was the first song I’d written in French. It flowed out of me so naturally, and I never thought it would be anything more than a sweet memory and reminder to smile tattooed on my left wrist. Fast-forward 7 years, Sourire was featured as the credit song in the movie 1Night. Now, I’m proud to present the official music video for Sourire, shot in my studio in West Hollywood and a forest in Pacé, France!!! I am so grateful to all the wonderful people in my life who came together to make this song come to life. It proves you don’t always need a plan to make something beautiful. All this to say: have faith, move forward, and don’t fear the unknown because it can be more beautiful than you ever imagined. All I can say, is I hope whatever you do in life makes you smile. The story of how the song has gotten here certainly does it for me.
